Not using public tranport? Free car parking will be available at Peterborough Regional College, next door to the park. For more information on Central Park and suggested bus routes, click here.

 

The Main Stage - local groups and organisations including schools, Bhangra Beat, Eastern Bloco, The Untouchables, Recorders Galore, the ESP Dance Crew, Taldance Theatre Arts, Westwood Musical Society, Jellybelly Dancing and many more!
 
The Baby Bigtop - free circus workshops and performances throughout the two afternoons
 
Meet-the-Artist - hosted by Peterborough Artists Open Studios
 
Theatre - a special performance by Stanground College 'Whose Friend Are You?' on Saturday at 12.45pm in the activity tent
 
The Activity Tent - arts & craft workshops including some hosted by Peterborough Japanese Society
 
Youth Music (Saturday) - experience the best of young local bands on a special stage by the central Willow Tree
 
Dance - watch and even take part in dance from local dance groups including everybodysalsa.com, Farcet Dance and Twirl, Peterborough and District Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, Rumba Havannah Salsa and the Peterborough Folk Dance Club.
 
Picnic with Paddington 1pm on Sunday - bring your teddy bear and marmalade sandwiches along with you and get to meet the official real Paddington, with Action for Medical Research.
 
The Mayor's Festival Parade will enter the park about about 12noon on the Saturday.

  • Acker Bilk & His Paramount Jazz Band (Saturday at 7.30pm)
  • The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with violinist So-Ock Kim (Sunday at 8.30pm)

 

If a hot day - make sure you (and younger ones) drink plenty of fluids and keep topping up the sunscreen! As well as tents on site, the park has some lovely shaded areas - use them to keep out of direct sun light when needed.
