Bringhurst: Thursday 27 March 2008
The Treat Your Street project is now well underway and with a
successful second event at Bringhurst on Thursday 27th March and we would like to
thank all those who came along to the event! We had a great turn
out with lots of positive work achieved throughout the day.
We had representatives from:
- The Police
- Peterborough City Council
- Neighbourhood Investment Team
- Energy Efficiency
- Community Safety
- Young Lives
- Cross Keys Homes
- Street Scene and Travel Choice
- Woodland Trust
- Froglife
- Ormiston
The day proved to be a huge success with a great commitment
shown from the young people of the area who assisted with the
community litter pick.
Other events which were a popular include the nature trail,
the multimedia Jam Van and a bird box building session hosted by
Froglife.
All in all the day was a great success with the good weather
helping us all out! We want to continue with this good work in the
area and are confident that this project can act as a great
initiative for making future improvements with everyone working
together.
