Equipment and Mobility Aids

Equipment and Mobility Aids

Occupational Therapy helps you remain independent.

We provide practical solutions to restrictions that may affect your lifestyle and mobility. Our occupational therapists work alongside colleagues from housing services to arrange major installations and household adaptations to assist with independent living.

Mobility Aids (such as frames and sticks) are provided via the community Physiotherapy Service.

Both teams work in partnership to provide the most appropriate equipment to assist people in daily life.

We do not charge for equipment, however you may be asked to contribute towards adaptations to your home.
