
Substance misuse is dealt with in Peterborough by the Drug & Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) which brings together representatives from local agencies who are involved in tackling the misuse of drugs. These agencies include, Primary Care Trusts, Local Authority, Police and Probation Services, Youth Offending Service (YOS), Children's Services, Education, Youth Services, Voluntary sector.
The Peterborough DAAT works in partnership with
the
Peterborough Community Safety Partnership and the YOS to help
the police and communities tackle drug related problems and
associated crime.
