We are at the first stage in the production of two important documents which will set out the future growth of the city. Consultation will take place between 14 October and 24 November 2008.

Minerals and waste consultation
The consultation focuses on preferred locations for the extraction of construction materials such as sand, gravel, limestone and brick clay and for new waste management facilities to cope with the growing city's needs up to 2026.
