How
to Book:
- For daytime tours tickets can be purchased on the day of a tour from the Museum's reception desk, up to 5 minutes before a tour is due to start. Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disppointment.
- For Candlelit tours of the Museum, all tickets must be pre-booked in advance.
- For all other evening tours and Ghost Walks, tickets can be purchased on the tour from the guide, but due to the popularity of these tours pre-booking is strongly recommended.
- Tickets can be booked in advance from the Museum, Peterborough Tourist Information or by telephoning (01733) 343329 or e-mailing: museum@peterborough.gov.uk
General Information on the Walks:
- All tours start at our meeting point at the front of Peterborough Museum, Priestgate, unless otherwise stated.
- All tours last approximately 90 minutes.
- All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- All our tours (except the Candlelit Museum tour) are suitable for wheelchair users.
- All walks go ahead whatever the weather! We have plenty of places to shelter en route if the weather is bad.
- Customers are advised to wear comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.
- Customers are requested to turn off or make silent their mobile phones during a tour.
- All our guides are Blue Badge or Peterborough City Guide qualified.
