The Great Eastern Run 2008

ASBAH's network of area and specialist advisers provide expertise in all aspects of living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.  They offer information, advocacy and support to children and adults, their families and carers.

 

  ASBAH advisers inform and assist other professionals, working with them to achieve the best possible service.  They liaise with statutory bodies and other voluntary organisations to help parents, carers and those with disabilities access the services to which they are entitled. 

 

We aim to empower our service users by extending their choices and maximising their opportunities for independence.  We press for change through influencing policy makers and working with other bodies, such as the Council for Disabled Children.
