News from Peterborough City Council

Two half-day writing workshops are being hosted by Peterborough Libraries at Flag Fen Bronze Age Centre on Sunday 15 June for young writers aged between 11 and 16.

 

The workshops are part of the Eisteddfod at Flag Fen. The morning session will take place between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm and the afternoon session between 1 pm and 3 pm.

 

The first workshop will make use of the historical reconstruction of Flag Fen to work on settings to create atmosphere and the second will use objects and finds as inspiration. 

 

The workshop costs are included in the entry price to the Eisteddfod but must be booked in advance, either at Flag Fen, or by contacting Gill Benedikz at Central Library, Broadway, Peterborough, or phoning (01733) 864277. 

 

Participants are asked to dress appropriately as a dig may be involved on site as part of the workshops.
