Let's do the Time Warp again!

The Peterborough Festival presented a very special night - one you are to remember for a very, very long time...
There was a great atmosphere and buzz on the Embankment and the huge crowd were entertained by a great pre-film warm-up show with the Satanic Mechanics (the live band, all dressed up for the occasion!). Unfortunately due to technical difficulties (which we're still investigating) and the deflation of the massive inflable screen, we transferred the film screening into the Key Theatre.
A huge thank you must go to everyone who came along and supported the event - a special thank you must go to the fabulous Patricia Quinn, who, as always, lived up to her extraordinary goddess-like status as the cult icon we all love.
The Rocky Horror Picture Showwith live pre-film warm-upDate & time: Saturday 5 July at 9pmVenue: Open-air on the Embankment on a massive screen, next to the Key TheatreAdmission: FreeThe cult film comes to
Peterborough and the Festival invites you to re-live Richard
O'Brien's sinfully twisted salute to horror, sci-fi, B-movies and
rock music - a 'sensual daydream to treasure forever' - starring
Tim Curry, Meatloaf, Patricia Quinn and Susan
Sarandon.
Don't' dream it, be it: from fish
nets to tailcoats, everyone is invited to dress up for the occasion
wear what you like and how you like it! Being an open-air event
means many props are welcome confetti and glow sticks at the
ready!
The feature film will be
introduced with a special warm-up on stage with live music from THE
SATANIC MECHANICS to help you see what's on the slab and don't
forget to Hot Patootie. You'll be guided how to
take that step to the left with The Time Warp and generally pelvic
thrust your way through the film that has lasted over three decades
and whipped up a frenzy all over the globe with its astounding
soundtrack and audience participation!
The staged warm-up will also
feature the ESP Dance Crew
