The performance of Hydromania! (pictured above) will take place at dusk.
"This is a sure-hit Festival highlight with spectacular outdoor theatre that has been made especially for the city and the River Nene." Joseph Ballard, Festival Manager
The Festival proud to presents Avanti Display's Hydromania, a
unique theatrical spectacular of water fountains and pyrotechnics,
combined with live music and comic performance. Designed to
animate our very own River Nene with the lyrical beauty of the
interplay between water and light.
Featuring the amazing human fountain, "The Spurting Man" and
his assistant, who come to Peterborough after their tenth world
tour. The Spurting Man has a way with water while his
undervalued assistant has a quite way with the comic.
This show will also feature the international singing star,
Seaming and students from Peterborough Regional College who have
been working with the company.
The show will take place on the River Bank next to the Key
Theatre right in the heart of the City's potential cultural
quarter. A contemporary show of epic proportions, sure to be
a Festival Highlight.
The evening will feature a programme of outdoor performance
leading to the Water Finale at dusk (approx 9.15pm).

the launch of Peterborough as a university city.
The event will take place from 8pm and we're excited
to announce that the programme will also
include:
|
Les Femmes
Fatal
(Frenetic
Engineering)
All the way from Las Vegas via Slough!
The glamorous Milly has a new assistant!
The nervous and inexperienced Janice is a little over excited
about her debut performance. This combination of
nerves and excitement can be very dangerous...and might even make
Janice wee herself!
A collision of glamour and incompetence results in a hilarious
street/cabaret show involving knife throwing, audience
participation, fire eating, bad magic and sandwich making!

Desert Island Discs(Artizani)
Ever imagined what it would be like to be cast away on a desert island? Paradise or purgatory? With the help of a few salvaged vinyl's, flotsam, jetsam, coconuts and palm trees Artizani creates a tragi-comic new interpretation of the age-old myth. |
