Health and social care
The information within these pages is provided within our own services or by services of our partners - such as the Peterborough Primary Care Trust. In providing access to this information we have added links to pages directly within the Primary Care Trust website and so you may leave this site to view the information you need.
We have a Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee whose main aim is to act as a lever to improve the health of local people, it aims to look at the whole health system and not just services that are provided, commissioned or managed by the NHS.
Local authorities have powers to review and scrutinise the operation of health systems in their area and make reports and recommendations to NHS bodies on the outcome of scrutiny reviews. Further information can be found on the Health Overview and Scrutiny web page.
