Youth access point (yap)

 

The Youth Access Point at the Central Library, Broadway, Peterborough (funded by the Youth Capital Fund).

 

We offer impartial and independent information, advice and guidance that is available to 13 to 19 year olds and those with additional needs up to the age of 25. We cover topics ranging from education, training opportunities and career planning to personal development opportunities, housing issues, money matters, relationships, health and other issues affecting young people.

 
The Youth Access Point has Internet and telephones available to use. Also YAP has computers with music and film editing software.
 
There is space for young people to meet in the evening to work on youth projects such Youth Council, Democracy Drop In, Youth Bank.
 
If you are unsure of what to do next, or your plans do not work out, there is help at hand from Connexions Young People's Service Advisers Connexions advisers.

Mondays, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, Fridays  09:00 am - 17:00 pm
 
Thursdays                   10:15 am - 17:00 pm
 
Saturdays                   09.30 am - 13:00 pm.
