Transforming public services
In October 2006, Peterborough City Council embarked on an
ambitious transformation programme that has, and will continue to
revolutionise the way the council delivers services to people who
live, learn, work in, or visit
Peterborough.
The council is also committed to keeping council tax low
whilst improving services. This will be achieved
through the £12 million savings which are expected to be
achieved over the course of the three year transformation programme
to drive performance improvement and reduce costs.
What is Business Transformation?
Business transformation is about fundamentally changing the
way the council works and working smarter so that services are
better, quicker, cheaper and simpler to
access.
