Sustainability Appraisal
Introduction
As part of the preparation of the Minerals and Waste
Development Plan Document Preferred Options 2, Cambridgeshire
County and Peterbrough City Councils are required to carry out
a Sustainability Appraisal to make sure all of its policies are
sustainable.
A Sustainability Appraisal is intended to assess the social,
economic and environmental effects of any proposed policies against
the framework established as part of the
Scoping Report stage.
