Running Safe Events
Outdoor events are the cultural and leisure activities that
can define the life of a community and, as such, should be a time
of enjoyment and fun. Coming together to celebrate is a part of
social life since society first began and should be encouraged as
much as possible. It must also be done with due regard to every
member of society which means it should be undertaken in a safe
manner.
Peterborough City Council has recently published guidance to help those wishing to organise these events in Peterborough, this guidance has been put together with the aim of making it easier to hold safe events throughout the area, the guidance includes a Risk Assessment form and how to complete it as well as an Event Notification Form. Please click on the link below to read or download a copy of the guidance. You can also download a seperate copy of the Risk Assessment Form and Event Notification Form.
