Have your Say

When it is adopted, the Site Allocations Development Plan document will identify land for housebuilding and new employment, retail and other forms of development, including mixed-use development. At this early stage, we are seeking public opinion on all sites that have been suggested to us by developers, landowners, agents, parish councils and local residents.

It is stressed that the map and document include all sites that have been suggested to the Council as possible locations for development.  They are not the Council's proposals. At this stage, the Council is not committed to any site. The inclusion of a site does not represent any decision by the Council and does not provide the site with any kind of planning status.

The Site Allocation Issues and Options Development Plan Document was updated on 15, October 2008.

You can make comments on line or by using the  Site Allocation form (14KB, 2 pages).

You can also submit sites (22KB, 2 pages) that you think have the potential for development.

There is an evidence base.

Consultation on this document has been extended and takes place between 14, October 2008 and 1, December  2008.
