Peterborough new diploma available from september 2009 across eight schools
Team Peterborough a partnership of schools and colleges, will introduce 4 of the 17 New National Diplomas in September 2009. This is part of a planned diploma programme in Peterborough to meet a national entitlement for young people to access all 17 by 2013.
Access to all the New Diplomas will be available across Peterborough by 2013.
In September 2009 the New Diploma Qualifications on offer in Peterborough will be:

The New Diplomas offer a new kind of learning and a new approach to learning. You will be able to learn more about subjects that interest you but keep your options open. Courses will combine theory with practical activities. Learning will take place both in and out of the classroom.
You can discuss your suitability for this
type of learning and the options available with the Diploma with
your school Careers
Co-ordinator or Connexions
Personal Advisor - this
will determine in which centre the learning takes
place.
