Tickets on sale for Christmas coach trips

Tickets for a number of festive coach trips are currently on sale at Peterborough City Council's Travelchoice Centre, in the Queensgate bus station.
 
If you fancy getting yourself into the Christmas spirit, a trip to York's Festival of Angels on Sunday 14 December 2008 could be for you.
The festival brings together a winter wonderland of ice sculptures, stalls, outdoor food and drink and street entertainment. Tickets for the trip, run by Shaws Coaches, cost £22 for adults, £21.50 for senior citizens, and £20 for children.
 
On Sunday 28 December, city residents are being offered the chance to see London's Christmas lights and famous landmarks. Tickets, which include a guided tour and a ride on the London Eye, cost £39 for adults, £38.50 for senior citizens and £35 for children.
 
Meanwhile, tickets for two excursions organised by Peterborough Travel Consultants are also on sale at the Travelchoice Centre.On Sunday 7 December, a coach will first head to Melton Mowbray's Christmas Victorian Fayre, before stopping off at the Christmas Fantasia event at Belvoir Castle, near Grantham. There visitors will enjoy hundreds of decorated trees, choirs, and tours led by costumed guides. Tickets cost £18.50 for adults and £17.50 for senior citizens.
 
On Tuesday 16 December, a trip to a Fenland pub has been planned, where guests will enjoy a carvery lunch and an afternoon of music. Tickets cost £19.For more information on these and other coach trips, and to book tickets, visit the Travelchoice Centre. The centre is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 4pm on Saturdays (closing between noon and 1pm for lunch).
