Recycling - bring bank collection sites

Glass, paper, magazines, cans, and textiles are all collected in recycling banks which are located at all the big supermarkets and various other sites in and around the city.
 
Other items such as books, textiles and small electrical appliances that can be deposited in the bring banks are listed below.
 
Please report any full banks and untidy sites to the  recycling team.

Earn Cash, Recycle Glass!

 

Peterborough City Council runs a scheme that allows Community Groups and Charities to adopt a glass recycling bank and encourage residents to recycle glass in their area, in return for their efforts the groups receive a financial reward based on the amount of glass that is collected.
