Approved premises
Under current law, it is possible to have a civil ceremony
such as a marriage, a civil partnership formation, a renewal of vows, a baby naming ceremony or a citizenship ceremony at approved premises in
England or Wales. These are buildings which are licensed by the
local Council for this purpose.
