Statement of Accounts

Each year, we produce a Statement of Accounts. The Statement of Accounts provides information about costs and income of the council's services for the financial year and liabilities and assets at the year end. It can be viewed on the link below.

We would also welcome your feedback on the Summary of Accounts 2006/07 document - tell us what you think of the way the information was presented, and how readable it is, so that we can continue to improve the way we present it."

The accounts for 2007/08 were approved by the Council's Audit committee on 30 June 2008 and the unaudited version of the Statement of Accounts is now shown below. A summarised version will be available soon.

The Council are required to advertise the Notice of Audit and Public Inspection of the Accounts. This notice is provided in the document below and includes the details for how electors can ask questions about, or challenge, the Council's accounts.
