Planning Research and Monitoring
There is a statutory requirement to inform and monitor
some of the policies of the Statutory
Development Plan.
This involves the collection, analysis and supply of planning
related information. Typically this includes statistics
about:
- Housing development
- Office, Industry and Warehouse (employment) development
- Retail development
- Telecommunication development
- Open space provision
- Unemployment
- Population estimates and forecasts
- 2001 Census
Much of the above is used to inform the following Annual Monitoring reports (AMR's)
- Local Development Framework Annual Monitoring Report
- Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Structure Plan Annual Monitoring Report
- East of England Plan Annual Monitoring Report
