Please answer 2 quick questions about buses in Peterborough Community Transport

What is it and can it help me?

Community transport is a term used to describe a service, or network of services, that provides essential journeys for those who have difficulty accessing conventional public transport.  This may be due to lack of mobility or the limited availability of public transport i.e rural areas.
Community transport helps to fill the gap between social isolation and accessing essential services.  Most community transport is provided by volunteers, each giving up their time to help others.
