Roads, highways and pavements
Peterborough City Council is responsible for the maintenance
of just over 509 miles (820-km) of highway network. The nature of
this network is varied including high-speed dual strategic routes,
heavily built up inner city areas and rural routes.
Peterborough City Council has Highway Authority for the
Peterborough area and is responsible for the co-ordination of all
works and events taking place on the public highway that could have
an effect on the roads or footways. The city council are
responsible for over 350 road and footbridges throughout the
area.

Management -Managing and maintaining traffic signals and
processing access and disabled road markings
