Planning Process - Application Determination
Making a Decision:
- a planning application can be decided on 2 main levels: Delegated and Committee
- most planning applications are decided at Delegated level where the planning staff can grant or refuse permission
- controversial and/or major applications go before the Planning and Environmental Protection Committee to grant or refuse permission
- once an application has been decided a decision notice (legal document) is sent to the agent/applicant
If you have any questions on an application please
contact the case officer allocated to that
application.
If an application is refused or conditions imposed, the
applicant may appeal against this
decision.
