Who manages and monitors the Urban II Programme?
The Programme Monitoring Committee (PMC) has responsibility
for overall management of the programme.
Membership comprises:
- Government Office East of England (GO-East), in an advisory capacity only.
- Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM)
- Peterborough City Council
- Job Centre Plus
- Learning Skills Council
- Cambridgeshire Constabulary
- Peterborough Council for Voluntary Service
- North Peterborough Primary Care Trust
- East of England Development Agency (EEDA)
- Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT)
- Connexions
- Community representatives
The Urban Management Panel (UMP) oversees management of the
programme delivery, and approves projects within limits delegated
by the Programme Monitoring Committee.
Peterborough City Council is the Accountable Body with
responsibility to GO-East for delivery of the
programme. It deals with all claims and
payments, monitors the financial and physical progress of projects,
and ensures compliance with audit regulations.
