Youth Offending Service
The main aim of the youth offending service is to prevent youth crime. Working in partnership with probation, police, health and education services, together we aim to deliver a justice system which prevents and detects more crime, holds offenders accountable for their actions and works to prevent re-offending. We also work with victims and witnesses offering support, with the aim to improve public confidence in the youth justice system.
Our Peterboroug Youth Justice Plan has been approved by government and sets out our vision in Peterborough for tackling youth crime, reflecting the high level of commitment from all partners.
