What is my right to appeal? (Stage Two)
If you are unhappy with the manager's response, you have the
right to appeal to the Central Complaints Office. You can do this
by completing the on-line complaints
form, or by contacting the Central Complaints Office at:
Central Complaints Office
Peterborough City Council
Customer Service Centre
Bayard PlaceBroadway
Peterborough
PE1 1FZ
The Central Complaints Office will log your complaint and
acknowledge it within 2 working days. It is then passed to the
relevant Head of Service (or equivalent) who will investigate your
complaint and write to you with the outcome of the investigation
within 15 working days. Where there is an unavoidable delay,
the Head of Service or Central Complaints Office will send you a
letter giving you details of when your complaint should be
resolved.
If you are not happy with the response from the Head of
Service, you have the right to appeal to
the Deputy Chief Executive. Details of how you can appeal
will be included in the response from the Head of Service.
