How do I appeal to the Deputy Chief Executive? (Stage Three)

If you are unhappy with the Head of Service's response, you can appeal to the Deputy Chief Executive. This can be done by filling in the on-line complaints form, by telephoning, faxing, e-mailing the Central Complaints Office or by writing to:

The Deputy Chief Executive
Peterborough City Council
Town Hall
Bridge Street
Peterborough
PE1 1HG

When you write to the Deputy Chief Executive, please ensure you clearly state why you are still unhappy and what you think the Council should do to put things right.

The Central Complaints Office will log your complaint and acknowledge it within 2 working days. The acknowledgement will set out how your complaint will be investigated and relevant timescales.

If you are not happy with the response from the Deputy Chief Executive, you can refer your complaint to the Local Government Ombudsman.
