Public Transport Information Strategy
The Public Transport Information Strategy published below
intends to meet the requirements of the Transport Act 2000 and form
an important part of the Local Transport Plan (LTP). In line with the
Government's directives to produce a comprehensive public transport
information network, the content and layout of the Strategy is
thorough and produced through partnership and consultation
exercises.
The overall aim of the Strategy is to provide greater and
easier access to public transport through better information
therefore promoting modal shift from the private car.
