Sample Drawings and Plans

Sample plans are provided below to help you assemble the appropriate level of information when you make an application. These plans are intended as examples only. All rights are reserved.

 

The documents below appear in Adobe® Acrobat® (PDF) format. In order to view them you will need to have Acrobat Reader installed. (Those with visual impairments may wish to investigate Access Adobe, which provides tools and information to help make PDF files more accessible.)  

 

The sample plans are:

 

Location Plan (1.47 MB 1 page) - identifies the site at a scale of 1:1,250, with the application site outlined in red

 

Block Plan (909 KB 1 page) - shows the application site at a larger scale (1:500). The plan shows the boundaries to the site and differentiates between the proposed new build and the existing, and also shows any buildings close by

 

Floor plans (1.41 MB 1 page) - 'as existing' and 'as proposed' plans at a scale appropriate to the development (1:100)

 

Elevations (1.45 MB 1 page) - 'as existing' and 'as proposed' elevations at a scale appropriate to the development (1:100)

 

High quality drawings will sometimes be required, particularly where works to a listed building are involved.
