Residential Design Guide
The purpose of the Peterborough
Residential Design Guide is to ensure delivery of sensitive and
appropriately designed sustainable developments. This document sets
out guidelines that should be adopted by all those involved in
housing development in the Peterborough area, including landowners,
housing associations, developers, housing co-operatives, designers
and builders.
Security Shutters on Shopfronts
A leaflet is available providing guidance on security shutters
on shopfronts.
Village Design Statements
The Village
Design Statement (VDS) is a practical tool capable of
influencing decisions affecting design and development. As
Supplementary Planning Guidance, its recommendations will be taken
into account when planning applications within the relevant
villages are being assessed by Peterborough City Council.
