Equality monitoring
Our responsibilities in employment under the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000
We are required to monitor a number of factors to
identify and tackle any inequalities in employment practices. These
Include:-
- The total number of employees
- Those who apply for employment
- Those who apply for training and the training given
- Grievances and the results of any investigation
- Disciplinary action, including outcomes
- Employees leaving the council's employment and reasons for this
- Training employees responsible for the Scheme
These reports highlight the performance of the council in
those areas above and the steps being taken to improve
performance.
