The details of the banner display service are as
follows:-

The banner should be double sided (carrying your message on
both sides) made of a suitable strong woven material and measure at
least 25' x 33" with reinforced eyelets at approximately every 12"
to 18" intervals. If on our inspection your banner does not meet
this specification we will advise you of our concerns. We
recommend that new banners be made with "air vents" (to enable the
wind to blow through) or made with a mesh material.
You may be aware that Bridge Street can be very windy, and in
strong winds a banner can be damaged and become a danger to the
public. Should this happen we will advise you that your
banner is to be taken down, if you require it to be repaired and
re-sited there will be an additional fee of £180 plus
whatever the repair costs are.
Please ensure that the banner is collected from this office
within two weeks of its removal from Bridge Street. The
council will not accept any responsibility for any banner not
collected within this time nor will the council accept
responsibility for damage to any banner or any accidents to members
of the public caused by the erection of a faulty banner.
