Dogsthorpe Library is situated in the middle of the row of shops in Central Avenue Dogsthorpe. It is reached from Elmfield Road or Eastern Avenue and is opposite Dogsthorpe School.

What's On
Regular Activities and Even
Adult Reading Group - "Cover to Cover"
A lively reading group which is currently fully subscribed.
- Meets every second Wednesday of the month, 5pm-6pm.
Please contact staff if you are interested in joining as there are plans to set up a second group based at this library.
Chatterbooks Children's Reading Group
The reading group is a great way to introduce reading as a social activity.
- For 7 - 12 year olds
- Last Monday of every month, 3.30pm - 4.30pm.
- There will be a member of staff to lead the group, although the children attending will have a lot of input too.
- There will be the opportunity to read books and talk about them together as well as poems, quizzes, competitions, creative writing and more!
Homework Club (Years 3 to
8)
