Enquiry and Research Service

For those unable to visit the Library
We can undertake research on your behalf as part of our research service. Our research service is based on records that we hold here, including family history and local history resources, in which we will look for the information you require. We often undertake checks in parish registers, census returns and local newspapers as well as conducting more extensive research using our local history and archive collections. Payment should be made by cheque or postal order in pounds sterling, and the payee should be Peterborough City Council.

To make use of this service email archives.services@peterborough.gov.uk or phone 01733 864280 and ask for the Archives Service.
