Suppliers and Contractors Area
Peterborough City Council currently spends around £100
million on the procurement of goods works and services each year,
working with contractors and suppliers of varying
sizes. The Council is committed to giving all
contractors and suppliers the opportunity of doing business with
them within a wide-ranging area of spending sectors.
The Council strives to maintain good working
relationships with all its contractors and suppliers and seeks to
be open, transparent and fair in its processes.
It has been recognised that due to a lack of information many
contractors and suppliers are unaware of what opportunities exist,
where contracts are advertised, what our rules are and how to get
on the Council's approved list. A guide has
been designed to explain how our processes work in order that it
will open up opportunities to all.
The guide aims to help contractors, suppliers and consultants to quote or tender for our contracts and what is expected of them. We hope it is useful to you and reinforces that Peterborough City Council are 'Open for Business'.
