This service is designed for you, so that you can gain access
to records that can tell you about Peterborough.
We feel our long-term aims should be to:
- Build our own archive collection that tells the story of Peterborough.
- Provide the best possible access to the material in our care by providing finding aids to all major collections and developing on-site facilities for viewing archive records.
- Ensure that we can house our archives in secure, stable and safe environments.
- Liase with the other organisations that care for records relating to Peterborough, to ensure that the material continues to be held in the places that are most suited to securing its continuing preservation and accessibility.
