How do I complain about a council service?
The steps outlined below explain how you can
complain about a council service. There are three stages to the
Corporate Complaints Procedure. It is important that you work
through each of these stages until you are satisfied that your
complaint is resolved.
- What do I do if I am unhappy with one of your services? (Stage One)
- What is my right to appeal? (Stage Two)
- How do I appeal to the Assistant Chief Executive? (Stage Three)
- How do I appeal to the Local Government Ombudsman?
- How do I complain on behalf of someone else (as a representative)?
- How do I report a racial incident?
- Online complaints form
- Complaints excluded from the Corporate Complaints Procedure
