National Express Taxibus
What is it?
The National Express Taxibus, operated by Stagecoach on behalf of National Express, will provide a demand responsive door to door service between Hampton and Peterborough railway station. The service will operate at a 20 minute frequency between Hampton and Peterborough railway station before 09:00 and at a 20 minute frequency between Peterborough railway station and Hampton after 17:00. All areas of the Hampton development (PE7 8**) will be served by the National Express Taxibus service.
How will it work?
- Before using the service you will need to book your journey by following these steps:
- Call 08457 225 225 and select option 1 and then option 6.
- You will be given an account number if you are using the service for the first time or, if you have used the service before, will be asked for your account number.
- The operator will then request your name, address and other personal details as well as whether you will be travelling from Hampton or from Peterborough railway station.
- If you have booked a single or weekly pass then you will receive a reference number only which you will need to quote to the Taxibus driver.
- If you have booked a monthly, quarterly or annual pass then you will receive a paper ticket in the post in addition to a reference number.
- Aim to be ready at your collection point at least 13 minutes before your agreed collection time.
How much does it cost?
- Single: £3.00 (ticket only available on the Taxibus)
- Weekly: £20.00 (ticket only available on the Taxibus)
- Monthly: £75.00 (ticket available on the Taxibus and Citi 6 services all week)
- Quarterly: £200.00 (ticket available on the Taxibus and Citi 6 services all week)
- Annual: £750.00 (ticket available on the Taxibus and Citi 6 services all week.)
