Gladstone area traffic management scheme
On this page we will provide information about the progress of the Gladstone area traffic management scheme.
In March 2006 we carried out an informal consultation with all residents
There are several individual projects within the overall scheme, including:
- changes to on-street parking
- provision of off-street parking for properties backing onto certain rear-access roads
- introduction of a one-way system south of Taverners Road from 13 February 2007
- provision of off-street parking in Hankey Street
- improvements to Loire Court car park, Clarence Road
- Clarence Road/English Street junction has been re-opened

Our third bulletin (March 2007) gives an update on what has been done so far and what is proposed in the area north of Taverners Road.
Our second bulletin (January 2007) gives updates on the scheme, including introduction of the one-way system and new parking restrictions in the area south of Taverners Road.
