Have your say
As a public service, our objectives should reflect
the needs and requirements of local people. As a
proactive and inclusive local organisation, we should be in touch
with the aspirations and expectations of our local community.
Engagement is involving our community and service users in the
development of the organisation. It means
finding out about your needs, requirements, and aspirations as
individuals and for the city in which you live, work or both.
The council's vision for engagement is to create an
organisational culture of constructive, innovative and consistent
public engagement that supplies co-ordinated information and trends
for the council's business planning process.
