Business Continuity Management is a simple planning process
to enable your organisation to prepare for, and recover from,
any kind of disruptive incident.
In the event of a major incident, Peterborough City Council
will respond along with the Emergency Services, and will assist the
community to recover in every way possible. However, the recovery
of your business is ultimately your own responsibility, and it is
therefore vital to make business continuity plans.
An effective plan can be simple and inexpensive, and will help
to safeguard your staff, customers and your business reputation. If
you're not convinced, take just
ten minutes to assess your business and the need for continuity
plans.
Peterborough City Council aims to increase the economic
resilience of the community as part of our vision for a bigger and
better Peterborough. We also have a duty under the Civil
Contingencies Act 2004 to give generic business continuity
advice to the commerical and voluntary sector in our area. If you
would like some free advice or more information on business
continuity, our contact details are below.
We are involved with a number of events to help promote
contingency and business continuity planning and welcome any size
of business in the Peterborough area.
