The John Clare Theatre is a comfortable theatre that has 144 seats and 2 wheelchair spaces. It is located within the Central Library Building and adjoins the LP Hartley room making the two rooms ideal for presentations and meetings combined.

LP Hartley Room
The LP Hartley room is a meeting room that can be booked separately or with the John Clare Theatre. It has the following capacity:
- 22 people boardroom style
- 35 people theatre style
- 20 people in horseshoe style
Eating and drinking is permitted in the LP Hartley room and cups, saucers, teaspoons and plates can be provided on request.
