Real Nappies

This section aims to explain all aspects of using real nappies
from what they are, how to use them and why to use them.
Real nappies are made from cotton rather than plastics, paper
and chemicals. They are designed to be washed
after every use in your washing machine and can be used again and
again, not just for one child but for many.
Unfortunately real nappies are associated with negative images of
old-fashioned Terry towelling and the time and effort they used to
involve. In fact, real nappy use is growing
every year thanks to easy-to-use modern real
nappies. Modern real nappies are shaped, fitted
and fasten easily without pins.
