Hospital travel costs scheme
The Hospital Travel Costs Scheme provides financial help to
those patients who (1) do not have medical need for ambulance
transport and (2) who cannot meet the cost of travel to
hospital (for instance people on income support).
Please note that this is the reimbursement of the cheapest
transport reasonably available such as the reimbursement
of a bus ticket rather than a taxi.

To reclaim your travel expenses, pick up a HC5 form on your
next visit to the hospital.
