Peterborough Safeguarding Children Board (PSCB)
Peterborough Safeguarding Children
Board brings together representatives of each of the main agencies
responsible for promoting children's welfare, and helping to
protect children from abuse and neglect.It is responsible for developing, monitoring and
reviewing safeguarding policies, procedures and practice
within Peterborough, and for providing interagency training for
staff across the city who work with children and families.

Children Board's are listed in
Working Together to Safeguard Children (Department of Health
2006).
Under the terms of the Children Act 2004 Area Child Protection
Committees have been replaced by Local Safeguarding Boards which
have increased statutory powers and responsibilities.
