Other financial help

NHS costs, glasses, hospital fees, free prescriptions

Help is given towards the cost of healthcare for those who are on certain benefits or who are disabled.

Industrial Injuries / Bereavement Allowance / Attendance Allowance

You are sick or disabled as a result of an accident (Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit).

Your spouse or partner has died (Bereavement Allowance)

You are 60 or over (Pension Credit)

You are disabled and 65 or over (Attendance Allowance)

Grants & Loans

The Social Fund provides loans and grants for those on Income Support and Job Seekers Allowance.  The Family Fund is for those on a low income whose child is severely disabled.
