Minerals and Waste Site Specific Proposals Development Plan Document (DPD) Set for Adoption

Inspector Jonathon G King has published his report on the Examination into the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Minerals and Waste Site Specific Proposals Development Plan Document (DPD).  The report has found the Site Specific Proposals document to be 'sound' and concludes that it provides an appropriate basis for planning for minerals and waste for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area over the next 15 years.

A number of changes needed to meet the legal and statutory requirements and ensure the document is sound, were put forward by the Councils in response to points raised and suggestions discussed during the Examination. One exception relates to the Inspector's binding decision to delete allocation W1X South of Addenbrookes Access Road, Cambridge South from the document.
