Rubbish, waste and recycling

We are leading the way for recycling and composting in the UK. These pages will tell you everything you need to know about waste and recycling in Peterborough.

Under a policy adopted in February 2007, Peterborough City Council aims to recycle and compost more than 65 per cent of household and garden materials by 2020. The policy also aims to educate people to reduce waste creation and to re-use materials whenever possible.

These pages will tell you all about our plans for recycling, as well giving you practical tips and advice on how to do your part.
